Conamara Sea Week 2011 - Conamara Cookery School

E-mail Print PDF

THE CONAMARA COOKERY SCHOOL

While Conamara has fine products like lamb, oysters, mussels, scallops, smoked salmon it has yet to establish itself as having a vibrant outstanding food culture and this is a challenge for us all.  To date CEECC has launched the Conamara Lamb Pie and the Conamara Mussel Pie. The launch of Conamara Cookery School is another small step hopefully in the right direction. This school will have a number of outstanding chefs and lay an emphasis on local produce. Access to the school will not be prohibitive thus the fee for 2 sessions at the school is €70.00. Those who participate at the school will be given first preference if they wish to book seats for the stylish seafood banquet which takes place on Friday 28th.
