| SEA WEEK - Oct 21st to Oct 31st | A celebration of
our Marine Heritage - conferences, cultural events, book
fairs all wrapped in mighty music. Unfortunately due to special circumstances Sea Week 2005 will have to be cancelled this year. Never the less the Children’s Day on Sunday 23rd October at 3 p.m. in Ellis Hall will go ahead, included will be The Book Fair, Face painting, Penalty Shoot Out etc. Sporting events with Brendan Ridge and his team will also go ahead. There will be 5 aside soccer for primary schools on October 31st at 11 O Clock in Letterfrack N.S. All the cancelled events will be run in February 2006 – Music, poetry, workshops and conference. |

| INSTRUMENT BANK | Purchase of 5 fiddles, 2 boxes, 1 low whistle, 20 tin whistles and 4 flutes for our Instrument Bank. These instruments are school property and are then rented out for a small fee to the pupils. |
| THE NINE FRIDAYS - Jan to May & Sept to Dec | Nine concerts which take place on the last Friday of the month. Local players, children & adults joined by famous players like Sean Tyrell, Sharon Shannon, John Spillane & Maire Breathnach etc. |
